Owner of EnviroGreen, LLC, Anthony Haag, earned his PhD in Chemistry from the University of New Orleans in 2000. After having his home insulated with polyurethane foam years ago by Hi-Tech Foam Systems Anthony realized how much this product reduced his energy bills.
Soon after, he took an active interest in polyurethane foam products and many other polymer materials as it relates to insulating abilities along with the potential role it may play in the “green” market. As he researched the many polyurethane products on the market Anthony came to realize that, although most polyurethane products insulate extremely well versus any other insulation products on the market, one company in particular excelled in the formulation of high-performing and a uniquely creative portfolio of products.
Anthony Haag found Apex Foam Industries to formulate the most “green” products on the market utilizing agriculturally-based materials from Louisiana. Using these highly-renewable “green” materials, creating highly effective formulations, along with Apex’s continuing-strive to perfect its products lead Anthony to develop EnviroGreen Insulation Company. EnviroGreen exclusively offers Apex polyurethane insulation to its clients.

EnviroGreen is managed by Jeff Haag. Jeff has actively participated in the field of energy efficiency since becoming a Certified Energy Rater in 1999. After receiving his certification from the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources almost a decade ago Jeff has had the opportunity to work with thousands of individuals and companies throughout Louisiana concerning the energy efficiency of their homes and buildings.

Whether it was consulting homeowners, builders, contractors, architects, etc. from the beginning of the process of the building a new home and seeing it through to completion or working with the individuals involved in a major renovation Jeff’s position has been to focus on the house as a energy efficient system rather than simply selling a product to install in it.
The focus of an energy rater is to view these homes as a functioning system where all the energy efficient aspects of the home, including the method of construction, must cooperate with each other in order to not only generate a high level of energy efficiency but to create a comfortable and healthy interior environment to be proud to come home to.
Jeff has been a local resident of New Orleans for almost 30 years and has rebuilt his home in Lakeview along with several rental properties since Hurricane Katrina. He continues consulting in the field of energy efficiency while remaining personally involved in the sales and installation process of EnviroGreen’s polyurethane foam in homes and businesses.
